Course Description
This free course on environment management, you will learn environmental management from the primary level. The primary level learning will start with definitions and terms related to the environment where we will learn basic concepts related to the environment. You will know about components, segments, and types of environment. You will also learn the terms environmental aspects and impacts and why we need to know about the environment. In last, we will discuss major environmental challenges and their innovative solutions.
The second part consists of an introduction to environmental management and environmental management system (EMS). We will discuss and learn the necessity of environmental management and environmental management system (EMS). We will also learn certain standards of an environmental management system, particularly ISO 14001. This course will also make us aware of our actions towards environmental improvement.Course Goals
This free course on environment management will teach learners about the concepts of environment and environmental management and initially work as an EMS team member for an organization. They will also be aware of human impacts on the environment and make other people aware of it. From the course, the middle and senior management can also gain insights on EMS and ISO 14001 to implement them in their organizations.

Instructor
Nishita Ivy received B.Sc. (Honors) and M.S. degrees in Environmental Science from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. She received Prime Minister Gold Medal and two merit scholarships for her excellent academic result in the B.Sc. (Honors) Examination. At present, she is a Ph.D. scholar of Nalanda University, India. She also worked as an Environmental Professional for three years and has experience in environmental compliance and auditing, chemical management, reporting, and documentation.
